This is administrative and professional architectural work in the design, design review, project management, contract administration, construction monitoring and inspection of a wide range of the largest and most complex capital improvement projects. Employee performs hands on project work, oversees and evaluates on-the-job and outside training, develops and makes adjustments to objectives, assignments, schedules and priorities. Employee reviews technical and administrative decisions throughout all phases of a project, especially planning and programming. Duties and responsibilities also include construction management and contract administration. Employee oversees and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, estimating and managing the complete design package preparation or review of designs for building aesthetic and/or spatial relationships and functionality, and securing and coordinating the review of the structural, mechanical and electrical portions such as site/civil, and any other disciplines of the design or plan reviews to in-house engineers.
