What You'll Do.
Introduce the student to the fundamental concepts of the common law
Study of the Canadian legal system
Principles of statutory interpretation
Role of precedent in judicial decisions
Basic elements of contract law
Negligence and product liability
Certain important concepts in property law such as land tenure
landlords and tenant and personal property
