The role is based at our site in Scarborough on the Eastfield Industrial Estate and studying at York College. **Greetings from your future manager** “Are you interested in learning new skills and building a strong foundation for a future career as an independent multiskilled technician? In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow over a three-year period, supported by colleagues who are committed to helping you succeed. We welcome motivated individuals who want to learn, contribute and develop their potential in a fast paced production environment.” **What you will do** You will work alongside experienced technicians as you develop the skills needed to maintain our technologically advanced machinery, respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and resolve issues. You will have the opportunity to build additional skills in areas such as automation, coding, working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical drives. You will also learn to work with other systems in our production process, including hydraulics and pneumatics. In addition to your work-based training, you will attend college to gain the qualifications and skills needed to grow into a multiskilled technician at UPM Adhesive Materials. **Working schedule:** 36 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8am - 4.15pm
