### **Job Description** ## **Overview** We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our team in the water and wastewater sector. This role offers hands-on working in designing mechanical equipment and systems that support critical water treatment and distribution infrastructure. ## **Your role** _As a Mechanical Engineer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_ * Assist in preparing mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under senior engineer guidance. * Support in sizing and selection of pumps, valves, pipes, and associated mechanical equipment. * Support preparation of pipe, valve, and equipment schedules. * Assist in compiling mechanical equipment specifications (e.g., pumps, screens, pipes, valves, blowers). * Contribute to developing mechanical general arrangement (GA) drawings. * Assist in review of supplier/contractor submittals and technical data. * Support preparation of design reports, calculations, and technical notes. * Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning. * Learn and assist with development of P&IDs and control philosophies for mechanical systems. * Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, process, ICA). * Participate in occasional site visits for surveys, data collection, and understanding installation constraints. * Contributing to new innovative ideas/ making suggestions for innovation. * Exhibit positive energy, enthusiasm and is self-motivated. ## **About you** * BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. * Possess good communication and soft skills and be able to function independently with minimal supervision or as a member of a multidiscipline team. * Some knowledge of industry, best practices or regulatory standards, regulations and codes pertinent to Water Industry. ## **Reward & benefits** Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
