**Apprentice Design Engineer- Fire Suppression** 📍 Bristol. This apprenticeship involves working both from our office and on customer sites, depending on business needs. Johnson Controls, Unit 1 Westpoint Row, Almondsbury, Bristol, BS32 4QG. _To get on this prestigious apprenticeship programme we require 5’s or C’s in your GCSE English and Maths. All the cool stuff that keeps people safe when a fire starts. **What You’ll Be Up To:** * You will join the design department that specialises in creating fire suppression systems for industrial and commercial markets. * An experienced design engineer will guide you, teaching you the fundamentals of design engineering. * You will familiarise yourself with tools like AutoCAD, Revit 3D modelling, and other design-specific software to gain direct experience in system design. * This apprenticeship is a highly technical role where you'll create detailed designs and calculations for various fire suppression systems, complying with industry and legislative standards. * You will visit client locations, collaborate with colleagues to conduct surveys, and develop design plans based on the gathered information. * This role will require travel to clients on a national basis occasionally.
