Must Have
10+ years in a Production Support role managing enterprise-level applications, SME-level expertise in SQL, SME-level expertise in Unix/Linux, SME-level expertise in advanced Shell scripting, Expert-level knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools, Expert-level knowledge of log aggregation platforms, Proven experience in mentoring junior team members, Proven experience in leading technical initiatives, Extensive experience with containerization platforms, Deep experience with relational databases, Deep experience with NoSQL databases, Deep knowledge of messaging solutions, Significant experience working with REST APIs, Expert understanding of distributed application architecture, Expert understanding of networks, Expert understanding of load balancers, Expert understanding of storage, Expert understanding of authentication (AD/LDAP), Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java) for automation, Proven expertise in supporting high-volume, mission-critical applications that process, manage, and distribute financial data related to securities, pricing, and rates, Experience in applying prompt engineering techniques for interacting with Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs), Experience with modern observability standards and tools: Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana
