What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree or diploma in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related technical field, 3–5 years of experience in automation, systems integration, machine vision, robotics, or engineered solutions, Experience reviewing customer specifications, Develop technical concepts, Prepare quotations, proposals, or cost estimates, Assess technical requirements, Perform feasibility reviews, Develop practical solutions, Manage multiple priorities, Work independently, Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, Overcome technical challenges
Nice to Have
Experience with machine vision technologies, Robotic automation experience, CAD software experience, Simulations experience, Technical design tools experience
What You'll Do.
Support business development through quotation preparation
Act as primary technical contact for opportunities
Participate in site visits
Review and analyze customer documentation and requirements
Develop effective and competitive automation solutions
Lead application reviews
well-structured quotations
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams
Validate concept feasibility through simulations
Identify key project components
Request supplier quotes
Evaluate technical capabilities and costs
Develop clear and complete concepts
Develop written scopes of work
Present quotations internally and externally
Explain concepts clearly
Participate in project kick-offs
Participate in concept reviews
Communicate technical and financial details
Build and maintain relationships with customer contacts
Maintain accurate opportunity data within CRM
Complete time sheets and expense reports
Organize and maintain quote folders
