For over 80 years, John Brooks Company has been solving fluid handling challenges for customers in various industries/markets across Canada by providing a diverse selection of engineered products and innovative system designs, focusing on customized solutions consisting of filtration, pump, spray, and valve products. **THE ROLE** The Application Specialist I provides technical and sales support to customers by preparing quotations, processing orders, recommending products, and resolving customer inquiries. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, this role helps ensure a high level of service while supporting sales growth, accurate order management, and successful project execution **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepare, review, and follow up on customer quotations * Provide technical support, product recommendations, costing, and proposal development * Translate customer requirements into accurate product and solution recommendations * Process customer orders and monitor order status through completion * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution * Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding products, orders, and technical inquiries * Troubleshoot customer issues and work with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve concerns * Deliver after sales support to ensure customer satisfaction * Support business growth by identifying opportunities and strengthening customer relationships * Prepare proposals based on customer requirements, market conditions, and product offerings * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quotes, orders, and projects * Compile and organize vendor documentation for customer projects * Support collections and payment follow up activities in partnership with the Accounting team * Follow established sales processes, systems, and procedures to ensure operational efficienc
