Application Programmer Location: Remote. Employment Type: Full-time. Salary Range: $115,000 – $125,000. Who we are looking for: The Application Programmer will provide experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. This role supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet user and system requirements. You will work with systems analysts and designers to research and document requirements, analyze objectives, translate solutions into detailed program specifications, and assist with program design and modifications. This position also involves supporting testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure the smooth sustainment of system software applications. Duties of an Application Programmer may include, but are not limited to: Providing experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. Participating in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis. Assisting in the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure user requirements are met. Collaborating with systems analysts and/or designers to research and document computer user requirements. Analyzing objectives and problems identified by analysts and/or designers.
