Experience with Industrial solutions using 3D-printing technology, hardware, software or with industrial / capital expense equipment, Experience with Additive Manufacturing is beneficial, Knowledge of general manufacturing processes and techniques is advantageous, Experience with major CAD software such as Fusion 360, Solidworks, NX is a bonus, Familiarity with e-learning and LMS platforms, Fluency in Salesforce CRM use and reporting, Experience of working with international teams is an advantage, One or more European languages such as Italian, German, French, Spanish is of benefit

Servicing Markforged customers primarily in the field
Covering the Markforged technology
Identifying opportunities and determining solutions for customers
Demonstrating tangible added value for the customer
Collaborating with and coaching customers and VARs
Ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the machines / platform
Attending prospect meetings with the Sales team
understanding and evaluating customer needs
Executing benchmarking and technical analysis
Representing the voice of the customer
Encouraging technical feedback
Supporting customer-facing demonstrations and presentations
Creating technical demand generation content
Delivering and coaching Technical Training
Identifying and contributing to marketing activities
Supporting peers in attending events
Creating and improving technical documentation and training material
Providing feedback and support on complex customer cases

We empower customers to overcome supply chain complexities, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation by producing high-performance tools, fixtures, prototypes, and end-use parts in-house. As an Application Engineer you will focus on servicing Markforged customers primarily in the field, covering the Markforged technology. You will use your technical knowledge and expertise, working with the Sales team during the conversations with customers and partners, to identify opportunities and determine solutions for how the Markforged solutions can enhance and fit into their environments and infrastructure, demonstrating tangible added value for the customer. You will collaborate with, and coach customers and VARs in the effective implementation of the Markforged technology, using the technology to its full potential to achieve customer expectations. What will you own: Develop knowledge and competence of a diverse range of technologies and become a subject matter expert (SME) on one or more specific Markforged product(s) Lead the implementation in the field of Markforged technology, to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the machines / platform which meets the customer expectations Attend prospect meetings with the Sales team to identify opportunities for the customer, exceeding their expectations and influencing the sales process Listen, understand and evaluate the customers’ needs to be able to identify appropriate and effective solutions which enhance their experience of the Markforged technology, resulting in increased sales Execute benchmarking and technical analysis to support and increase the value-add benefit of Ma
