Full Job Description
**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Apply engineering expertise to support sealing solutions across static and dynamic applications, including O-rings and emerging electrification/eMobility technologies. * Analyze warranty data, field performance, and teardown findings to identify root causes and drive continuous quality improvements. * Collaborate cross-functionally with internal experts (materials, tribology, CAE, and program management) and external customers to solve technical challenges. * Support customer programs and component reviews by providing technical input in program management meetings. * Develop and update seal designs using 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX) to meet application requirements. * Lead or support problem-solving initiatives, including corrective actions, plant quality alignment, and VA/VE cost reduction projects. * Act as a technical partner to assigned customers—promoting solutions, identifying conversion opportunities, and delivering product training and application expertise. # Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. * 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment. * Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation. * Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX. * Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customers. * Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Starting at $82,000. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
