Full Job Description
ICF is actively seeking a Junior Appian Developer with a strong interest in building efficient, scalable application solutions to join our development team. This role supports the design, development, and maintenance of Appian applications under the guidance of senior developers and architects. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, a solid technical foundation, and a commitment to achieving Appian certification. **Responsibilities:** **Appian Development** * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business and technical requirements * Design, develop, configure, and deploy Appian applications in accordance with project specifications * Build workflows, interfaces, and data integrations using Appian Process Modeler and related platform components **Technical Design & Documentation** * Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for Appian solutions * Support development of custom components or Java plug-ins as required * Work closely with architects and senior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance guidelines **Testing & Quality Assurance** * Conduct unit testing and support system and integration testing activities * Identify, document, and remediate defects, bugs, and performance issues in a timely manner **Continuous Learning & Improvement** * Stay current with Appian platform updates, features, and industry best practices * Participate in training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions to expand technical skills and platform expertise **Communication & Collaboration** * Communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers, developers, and end users * Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment to support successful project delivery **Required Skills:** * 2+ years of professional experience on a large technical project * 1+ year(s) of hands-on Appian experience * Bachelor’s degree * US Citizenship or Green Card is required (required by the
