Job Description ** _Roles and Responsibilities:_** \- Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on the requirements gathered. \- Design integration requirements with other third-party platforms \- Design data models \- Defining architectural and development standards for the project in adherence to Appian and client's best practices \- Able to do the Appian application deployments \- Performing frequent code reviews and ensuring quality of the overall delivery \- Performing User Acceptance Testing with business users, BA \- Work with global teams, including business users, architects, technical personnel, to understand business processes and system requirements \- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical groups, both internal and external ** _Primary Skills:_** \- 3 to 8 Years of experience in Architecture/Design and Development using Appian (Appian Level 1 Credential preferred) \- Experience in Object Oriented programming languages primarily Java \- Experience in developing on J2EE platforms, RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) \- Experience in Distributed environments \- Experience in working with at least one external integration, i.e. Web Services. \- Good logical and analytical reasoning ability \- Good team player \- Fluent English communication and social skills to interact with a global team ** _Secondary Skills:_** \- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies \- Experience in Banking/Financial industry is preferred **Why this role is important to us** Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
