Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed, Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed, Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
Nice to Have
1 year experience within current role (internal MUSC only)
What You'll Do.
Manage critical care medicine patients
Coordinate involvement of medical/surgical specialty teams
Develop a comprehensive plan for the patient
Review the plan of care
Participate in directing patient care
Ensure adherence to protocol requirements
Perform diagnostic/therapeutic peri-procedural services
Coordinate discharge planning
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partners with Department/Practice Area physician and administrative leadership; Collaborative environment necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for the patient; Reviews the plan of care with the other members of the clinical team
