What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1–3+ years of experience in residential, multifamily, or facilities maintenance, Working knowledge of general maintenance tasks, Ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond to work orders in a timely manner, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Familiarity with safety procedures, tools, and equipment used in maintenance operations, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods, Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, Availability for on-call or after-hours maintenance as needed
Nice to Have
technical or trade school training, EPA certification a plus, EPA Universal Certification, Experience in multifamily or residential housing environments, CMRT, CPO, or similar maintenance certifications, Basic computer skills for work order systems
What You'll Do.
Perform general preventative maintenance
Perform corrective repair of buildings
Comply with codes and regulations
Perform assigned day-to-day repairs
Complete maintenance and repair records
Review assigned work orders
Estimate time and materials
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
Troubleshoot and repair kitchen appliances
Inspect new installation for compliance
Maintain lighting systems
Assist with grounds maintenance
Perform carpentry tasks
Perform furniture assembly
Perform locksmith tasks
Respond to emergency situations
Perform other duties as assigned
