What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience in maintenance, 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role, Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), Knowledge of maintenance best practices, Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a maintenance team, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and management, Analytical and troubleshooting skills, Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve maintenance issues, Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, Ability to lift heavy objects, Ability to climb ladders, Ability to work in various weather conditions
Nice to Have
Technical certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related field, Experience in a Class A apartment complex or similar high-end residential environment
What You'll Do.
Assist in overseeing daily maintenance tasks
Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
Supervise the maintenance team
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Coordinate unit turnovers
Conduct property inspections
Ensure compliance with regulations
Promote a safe working environment
Collaborate with external vendors
Manage after-hours emergency maintenance issues
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies
Control maintenance budgets
Interact with residents
Maintain accurate maintenance records
