Apache Mechanical Technician (Avionics) **Company:** Boeing Qatar Incorporated **Job Description:** Boeing Global Service is seeking an **Apache Mechanical Technicians (Avionics)** to join the AH-64E Qatar Air Force Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) located at **Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar**. **Position Responsibilities:** * Performs maintenance on the AH-64E electrical/avionics/armament/fire control/radar/visionics/ASE systems and components associated with the QAF AH-64E using the QAF-specific AH-64E IETM, AH-64E Operators Manual, AH-64E Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and AH-64E Check List Manual. * Diagnoses and repairs aircraft systems and components malfunctions including solid state and transistorized devices according to the appropriate technical manuals, directives and safety procedures. * Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions, authorized modifications and alignment of AH-64E weapons components, fire control/radar units, sighting elements/visionics, ASE, electronic and mechanical devices, and instruments. * Uses common measuring tools necessary for performing the tasks described herein, precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures. Handles AH-64E aircraft ammunitions, performs weapon system loading/unloading, arming and de-arming, and weapon subsystems configuration changes for all AH-64E weapons and fire control systems within the scope of this SOW. * Performs aircraft systems operational checks. * Test, troubleshoots, and repair aircraft systems test sets and diagnostic equipment. * Assist the QAF in the requisition and maintenance of Shop and Bench stock items for repair of AH-64E armament, ASE, electrical, avionics, instrument, fire control, radar and visionic systems. * Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. * Diagnoses and solves problems aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. * Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipme
