What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Qualified lawyer (8+ years), Experience in construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects, Ability to support cross-border APAC matters, Proven track record advising on complex industrial or technical projects, Hands-on experience in live-project issues, Strong drafting, negotiation, and commercial judgment, Ability to deliver pragmatic advice, Familiarity with FIDIC or equivalent frameworks, Familiarity with security of payment/adjudication regimes, Familiarity with APAC construction law practices

EPC/EPCM experience preferred

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, driving commercially practical solutions across multiple APAC jurisdictions. **What You’ll Do** * **Lead end-to-end legal support** for major capital projects across APAC, from early development and procurement strategy through contracting, execution, claims, and closeout * **Draft and negotiate complex agreements** , including EPC/EPCM, design-build, construction management, consulting, procurement, and supply contracts * **Advise on project risks and strategy** , including delay exposure, change orders, performance security, defects/warranty, and dispute avoidance/resolution * **Partner with business stakeholders** (procurement, engineering, project teams) to structure tenders, manage risk, and develop contracting templates and playbooks * **Support regional project development matters** , including land, permitting, and regulatory coordination with local counsel * **Manage external counsel across APAC** , ensuring pragmatic, high-quality advice aligned to business objectives * **Track legal/regulatory developments** and translate them into practical guidance for project teams **Wh
