Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, policy, economics, or a related field, At least three (3) years of experience in environmental research, policy, or program coordination, Demonstrated experience engaging with government agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders, organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail, Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support program implementation and decision-making

Nice to Have

Position Summary: OceanX is seeking an APAC Science Partnerships Specialist to support the organization’s work across Science, Education, Partnerships, and Missions throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This role will coordinate and facilitate partnerships, research activities, workshops, logistics, documentation, and regional program implementation in support of OceanX’s broader mission and strategic priorities across APAC. The Specialist will serve as a key coordination point between internal teams and external stakeholders, including government agencies, universities, NGOs, and scientific partners, supporting regional initiatives that advance OceanX’s mission in the region. Note: While the role will work closely with the OceanX team in support of OceanX initiatives, it will be formally employed and managed by a third-party staffing partner.
