Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of the current MES; Minimize disruption to manufacturing processes; Ensure the new MES aligns with business objectives; Ensure a seamless integration of the new MES into existing manufacturing processes; Optimize MES performance; Reduce downtime; Increase overall productivity; Monitor the effectiveness of the MES systems
Industry & Context.
Address and resolve any issues that may arise with the existing MES; Identify areas for improvement; Identify gaps; Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience in managing MES (preferably GE Proficy MES) in a manufacturing environment, Demonstrated success in leading the implementation of MES systems, business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, Excellent project management and leadership abilities, In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology trends, Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
What You'll Do.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the current MES
Implement enhancements to maximize system capabilities
Address and resolve any issues that may arise with the existing MES
and execution of the implementation of a newly acquired MES system
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand requirements
Ensure the new MES aligns with business objectives
Ensure a seamless integration of the new MES into existing manufacturing processes
Align MES strategies with overall business goals
Develop and implement regional strategies for optimizing MES performance
Increase overall productivity
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Identify efficiency gains
Identify cost reduction
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for MES enhancements and new implementations
Establish and maintain relationships with MES vendors and other technology partners
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of the MES systems
