Full Job Description

AP Accountant is responsible for running accounts payable and taxation function for the organization; working under Payment & Taxation Manger. While ensuring the vendors and employees are paid on the timely manner, adequate controls and compliances to processes have to be ensured. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts in accordance with company policies 2\. Record daily financial transactions including receipts, and payments 3\. Prepare journal entries into the accounting system 4\. Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of vendor payments 5\. Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances 6\. Perform periodic bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data 7\. Calculate and file taxes (Income Tax and Sales Tax) in compliance with Federal Board of Revenue and SRB regulations 8\. Prepare and submit withholding tax returns within prescribed deadlines 9\. Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation 10\. Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation in accordance with applicable standards 11\. Maintain proper documentation and organized filing of financial records 12\. Liaise with banks, auditors, and tax consultants for financial matters 13\. Familiar with online banking systems, including payment processing and approval workflows 14\. Familiar with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word, for data management and documentation. 15\. Experience in Oracle ERP and other accounting software is preferred 16\. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures **Requirements** * Education: Bachelors in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting * Experience: 2+ years * Certifications/Skills: MS Office Finance ERP * Technical Expertise: Payment processing, invoice matching, taxation deduction
