Ring is seeking an Antenna Design Engineer who will be a part of our global electrical engineering team, playing a critical role in ensuring the highest product quality standards and driving continuous improvement for the products. As an Antenna Design Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, design, optimization, implementation and test. You must be responsive, flexible, attentions to details and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Key job responsibilities Define antenna concepts and requirements during product definition Lead antenna design, optimization, implementation and validation across product programs Identify, debug and resolve system level Antenna-RF issues Achieve all regulatory and performance goals for OTA performance Support the operations team for Antenna manufacturing test Support the sustaining team for Antenna sustaining and field issues Work within a project team and take responsibility for the WiFi, BT implementation Characterize and debug desense and EMI issues to meet requirements Basic Qualifications: - 6+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience - Experience with prototyping and implementation Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools - Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
