What You'll Achieve.
ensure supplies are always maintained; maintain a safe and clean environment
Industry & Context.
candidates cannot have pet rodents (mice, rats or guineapigs) or rabbits for biosecurity reasons, Please make us aware if you have animals that feed on rodents (snakes, birds), must be able to drive, access to their own vehicle, performing a lot of physical tasks (lifting, loading, unloading), wearing PPE (hairnet, face covering, gloves, tyvek suit etc)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
great team player, reliable and proactive approach to work, flexible and happy to support colleagues with a variety of tasks, attention to detail, can stick to procedures, level good of spoken/written English, able to understand written and verbal instructions, compassionate and humane approach to animals, must be able to drive, access to their own vehicle
Nice to Have
experience of operating machines/machinery, cleaning/sanitising experience
What You'll Do.
support to one of our animal units
making sure the technicians inside have everything they need
ensuring the entire unit can operate perfectly
operating decontamination equipment to clean and sterilise goods and items
and distributing goods within the unit
carrying out regular stock takes to ensure supplies are always maintained
perform daily facility housekeeping of the unit
sanitising all floors
surfaces and working areas to maintain a safe and clean environment
