What You'll Do.
Perform animal husbandry duties
Daily care of laboratory animals
Feed and water animals
Observe animal health
Change and wash cages
Care for Biosafety Level 1 or 2 animals
Care for animals administered hazardous chemicals
Maintain animal rooms clean
Maintain facility organized
Administer special diets
Administer special water
Perform treatments as instructed
Assist research staff
Assist veterinary staff
Maintain accurate documentation
Maintain legible records
Identify signs of animal illness
Report signs of animal illness
Identify signs of animal injury
Report signs of animal injury
Identify abnormalities
Prepare chemicals to sanitize rooms
Prepare chemicals to disinfect rooms
