Must Have
3–4 years of professional experience, 1–2 years of experience managing client or stakeholder relationships, Comfortable with SQL and relational databases, Some background in R or Python programming, Ability to explain basic modeling and regression techniques for a non-technical audience, Genuine interest in artificial intelligence, Some familiarity with survey research and methodology, Oral and written communication skills, Desire to work in multi-disciplinary teams, Experience working in fast-paced environments, Passionate about progressive politics, Solutions-oriented, Attention to detail, Creative thinker, Kind person, Team player
Nice to Have

What You'll Do.
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
Build trusted relationships with clients
Ensure research findings are delivered clearly
and with strategic context
Design and launch surveys
Oversee the fielding of multiple surveys simultaneously
and data collection targets
Liaise between data scientists
and client-facing stakeholders
Analyze data to answer questions from policy advocates
Build subject matter expertise in AI policy and public opinion
Think critically about data to discern real trends from potential data quality issues
Flag data quality issues for machine learning data scientists
Support external outreach efforts
including presentations
Partner with BRR leadership to inform decisions about research scope and prioritization
Contribute new ideas to the ways we analyze
and communicate our data
Provide product feedback to engineers to improve our tools

Analytics Manager: Artificial Intelligence Policy and Research Blue Rose Research develops a wide range of cutting-edge products used by the most important progressive organizations in the country. Our research undergirds short-term and long-term strategy for advancing progressive causes and has a trusted track record among key decision makers. The Blue Rose Research team has a storied history and has worked with central players to develop strategy and direct hundreds of millions of dollars of resources. The work produced by the team is widely regarded as among the most technically sophisticated in the space. If you join us, you'll be plugging into a diverse team of decorated engineers, PhD data scientists, and political insiders who are closely connected to some of the most important decision makers in the progressive ecosystem. The Analytics Manager for Artificial Intelligence Policy and Research will own a portfolio of clients working at the intersection of AI, public opinion, and policy — including advocacy organizations, campaigns, and institutions navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape. You'll manage day-to-day partnerships while building deep subject matter expertise in how Americans think about AI and how that shapes the political terrain. You'll be the connective tissue between our technical teams and the clients who need to act on what we find. We're a fast and dynamic team, and you'll be contributing to an increasingly rapid cadence of research projects with a growing roster of clients. We're looking for you to bring your passion for progressive politics, an ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to make a big impact on a timeline.
