The Unitized Valuation and Reporting Services (UVRS) department is a growth department within the Northern Trust Global Fund Services Practice which values over a trillion dollars of assets daily. The UVRS group provides daily NAVs and/or Market Value of Client’s Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and other large Institutional clients accounting portfolios. In addition, UVRS provides annual reporting statements to clients and their auditors. **Summary of Role** : The Institutional Fund Accounting Analyst works on daily valued accounts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the Client’s Daily NAVs and Annual reporting. The Analyst is an entry level position which provides further career opportunities within the practice and other areas within Northern Trust. Major Duties :1. Determine Net Asset Value (NAV) for defined contribution plans on a daily basis. 2\. Evaluate and reconcile funds including mutual, benchmark, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports for daily valuation. 3\. Analyze the impact of transactions, income positions, accruals, and corporate actions on the portfolio investment options. 4\. Audit and resolve exceptions on assigned accounts according to procedures and within scheduled timeframes. 5\.
