What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or military experience, At least 1 year of experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting, or Risk Management
Nice to Have
2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets, 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Operations, Reporting, or Risk Management or a combination, High attention to detail, communication skills
What You'll Do.
executing payment requests
managing standard settlement instructions (SSIs) across multiple payment systems and trading platforms
maintaining the accuracy of SSIs
managing risks of incorrect SSIs with periodic and regular reconfirmation of counterparty settlement instructions
maintaining accuracy of all payment settlement instructions in payment systems and trading platforms used in Finance
reviewing and approving any changes to current instructions or addition of new counterparties
executing payment requests accurately and efficiently
managing risks of incorrect payments by ensuring team processes are governed by enhanced controls that meet updated payment standards
supporting the implementation and adherence to standardized procedures and controls for all SSIs across Finance
reducing operational exceptions and driving efficiencies via automation
and transfer of processes away from manual touchpoints
assisting with ad-hoc projects as necessary
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
partnering with various business stakeholders both internally and externally to verify current instructions and clean up unnecessary instructions; engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate the business need and accuracy of SSIs; coordinate with Finance Risk Management and other risk offices on best payment practices; collaborates across the Finance division to drive our payment processes forward
