Three (3) years' healthcare reimbursement experience, Experience with admissions, Experience with billing, Experience with collections, Knowledge of insurance rules, Knowledge of insurance regulations, Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits for federal payors, Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits for state payors, Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits for managed care payors in multiple states

Validate patient insurance information

Complete patient registration process

Ensure timely claims submission

Ensure accurate claims submission

Initiate and maintain communication with facilities

Enter insurance information into billing system

Verify patient insurance with payors

Update Patient Registration systems

Coordinate with Patient Referral Coordinators

Resolve incomplete registrations

Review registration denials

Determine Coordination of Benefits

Maintain current patient account information

Submit internal requests

Complete ancillary reports

Complete assigned projects

Support Patient Account Representatives

Support ROPS teammates

Maintain confidentiality of company information

Maintain confidentiality of patient information

Attend phone conferences

Follow teammate guidelines

Follow employment policies

Follow department procedures

Follow company procedures

Maintain consistent attendance

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Coordinate and partner closely with Patient Referral Coordinators (PRC); Partner with facility and Insurance Management Team; Support Patient Account Representatives and other ROPS teammates

Communication Scope

Initiate and/or maintain ongoing communication with facilities
