**Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a AMCS Operator to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.** **POSITION SUMMARY** Under general supervision, operates the central processing and data collection network which monitors and/or controls fire alarms, HVAC, electrical, gas detection, emergency paging and signaling, water, sewage, and security. Must be able to analyze a variety of system gauges and/or meters, detect abnormal conditions, determine causes and take or instruct others to take necessary corrective action. Adjusts controls, switch equipment via two-state or local operations and takes necessary action to isolate equipment or affected areas. Operator is responsible for initiating the required repair action(s) and ensures the appropriate activity personnel affected are notified. AMCS Operators shall tour facilities at least one tour per shift. Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE** * High school education or equivalent. * Two (2) years experience monitoring a central control system or minimum (2) years experience at journey level in one or more of the following crafts: HVAC, Electrical, Electronic Technician, Boiler Plant Mechanic, Water/Wastewater Operator, or Maintenance Mechanic. * Must have one (1) year verifiable personal computer experience. * Must be able to successfully complete 90 days of required training within 120 days. * Must possess a valid state driver's license. * Must have and wear hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards. * Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. * Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location. **PHYSICAL
