What You'll Do.

Assist providers during exams

Perform clinical tasks

Attach patient to diagnostic equipment

Provide information and comfort to patient

Ensure supplies and equipment are available

Escort patients from waiting area

Perform diagnostic testing

Collect specimens per provider order

Process specimens according to protocol

Enter patient data into EMR

Enter patient condition into EMR

Enter care given into EMR

Perform administrative duties

Maintain clinical equipment adequacy

Maintain medical supply levels

Conduct inventory of supplies

Monitor expiration dates

Requisition supplies from vendors

Reconcile orders with delivery

Track supply utilization

Implement infection prevention measures

Monitor infection prevention practices

Precept new employees

Assist providers with patient processes

Prepare room for procedure

Prepare instrumentation for procedure

Provide basic instruction to patient

Obtain additional instrumentation

Prepare specimens for lab

Set up sterile fields

Sterilize instruments

Label specimens appropriately
