Register patients in registration areas
Obtain accurate demographic information
Obtain accurate insurance information
Obtain accurate physician information
Ensure patient is eligible for insurance
Communicate differences to customer
Ensure insurance pre-certification
Ensure physician referral requirements are met
Instruct customer on requirements
Identify self-pay patients
Refer patients to financial assistance
Establish open communication with departments
Maintain open communication with clinical staff
Assist in shadowing new employees
Assist in precepting new employees
