What You'll Do.

delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN)

examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care

Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team

Provides support to facilitate safe

quality patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider

consistent with clinical policies

procedures and department standard work

May serve as a chaperone

an impartial observer during a sensitive examination or procedure

Provides input in the development of an individualized plan of care

Identifies health maintenance gaps for notifies patients of existing health maintenance gaps

Documents in the electronic health documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner

Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate

Collects patient reported medication history

risk screenings along with medical reports information to Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider

Collects and reports vital signs as delineated by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider

but not limited to: urine and stool

Performs minor testing for provider interpretation

but not limited to: Point of care tests

Assists with stocking of supplies and cleans patient’s environment/work area/equipment

communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department/unit personnel

Performs and documents the results of required clinical logs and CLIA waived laboratory including but not limited to: performing routine quality control procedures

maintaining temperature logs and eyewash stations
