What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Credentialed in an Epic Application Module otherwise credentialed in primary Epic Application within first three months, Licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred - if licensed, maintains current licensure
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare informatics, nursing, or other related field, Equivalent work experience in healthcare can replace the educational requirement, 1+ years of Epic Trainer experience, Previous Informatics experience, Experience with training during Epic implementation, Experience facilitating classroom and one-on-one learning in a clinical setting

**Hours of Work :** 40 **Days Of Week :** 5 **Work Shift :** **Job Description :** Your Job: * The Epic Trainer (ET) is to serve as an expert for Epic workflows and is responsible for conducting one on one and classroom training for clinical and non-clinical end users. * The ET will provide any ongoing training and assist end users with Epic training-related questions. * The ET will serve as a point of contact for end users and will work closely with the members of the Epic team to achieve the goal of providing training. * The ET will provide ongoing service relationships between the Health Informatics Training department and its direct application customers, and is a liaison to other departments and entities. They will assist in reporting all issues that arise during support to the respective HIs. * The ET must live in the DFW area and be able to travel to the Methodist hospitals and affiliated clinics for training and support. * Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System. Your Job Requirements: **_Education:_** * Bachelor's Degree in healthcare informatics, nursing, or other related field preferred. * Equivalent work experience in healthcare can replace the educational requirement. * Credentialed in an Epic Application Module preferred; otherwise credentialed in primary Epic Application within first three months. **_Licenses and/or Certifications:_** * Licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred - if licensed, maintains current licensure. **_Work Experience:_** * 1+ years of Epic Trainer experience is highly preferred.
