What They're Looking For.
Must Have
PHARMD-Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school, Current registration or Registered Pharmacist within 120 days, Knowledge of medical terminology, Knowledge of generic and trade pharmaceutical names, Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, Knowledge of laws and regulations, Knowledge and understanding of different Pharmacy practice settings, Knowledge of narcotic delivery and procedures, Knowledge and ability to identify and employ pharmaceutical and medical terms, abbreviations and symbols commonly used in prescribing, dispensing, and record keeping of medications, Basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards, The Joint Commission, Title XXII, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people, General knowledge of computer applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), Related pharmaceutical technology, Electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, Hazardous drugs management, USP 800 guidelines
Nice to Have
Experience as a specialty pharmacist in a hospital setting, Board Certification (ex: BCACPCPS/BCOP/CSP), EPIC and Beacon experience, ASHP-Post Graduate Year 1 ASHP General Pharmacy Residency
