Full Job Description
AWS is seeking a Principal level Strategy and Business Development leader to join our team. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a strategic leader to expand our engagement across our most strategic global customers. This high-impact role as an AWS Leader will be central to growing our pan-Amazon footprint, tasked with navigating and thriving in diverse and fast-moving international landscapes. This is a unique opportunity to join a centralized business development team that manages strategic partnerships across all of Amazon. As the strategic leader, you will be responsible for leading and working across a global team to generate, manage, and execute complex and high impact partnership deals. This includes managing relationships and negotiations for partnership deals, need a centralized advocate, and/or have broader implications to AWS and other Amazon business units. This role will be part of our Strategic Initiatives leadership team with high visibility at the most senior levels of AWS and Amazon. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and make high-judgment decisions that affect the company’s direction at the CEO level, utilizing deep market insights to anticipate changes in global trends and pivot strategies swiftly and effectively. You will need to work collaboratively with internal management teams to understand relative advantages and risks, if/when major features should be included to existing roadmaps, and current trends around innovation, consolidation and customer adoption. We dive deep and provide thoughtful technical analysis, but are adaptable and action-oriented, focused on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making.
