Ability to travel in support of WWP programs and services outreach, Up to 25% travel, May require lifting/carrying items up to 25 pounds, Participation in outdoor activities and events under varying weather conditions

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Four years of experience coordinating events or activities with volunteers, Three years of experience developing and building relationships and partnerships, Bachelor's degree, Valid state-issued driver’s license

Nice to Have

Three years of experience successfully performing in a WWP programmatic position may be substituted for the volunteer coordination experience, Four years of experience planning events or community activities, especially in a non-profit organization, Four years of experience with volunteer management, Three years of experience working with WWP, and having a familiarity of WWP programs and services, ASIST Certification

What You'll Do.

Establish and maintain communication with peer leaders

Propose and execute regional training

Oversee administration of peer leader activities

Identify and coordinate vetting of peer leaders

Develop and facilitate virtual programming

Support planning of peer leader events

Establish working relationships with teammates

Assist with planning Peer Leader Training Summits

Maintain data in tracking systems

Communicate program benefits

Ensure expense controls

Perform Alumni teammate duties

Participate in required training

Team & Collaboration

Establish and maintain a standard method of communicating with all assigned peer leaders in order to strengthen teamwork and culture; Establish effective working relationships and work collaboratively with WWP teammates across the country to develop and implement impactful events and activities to connect, serve, and empower wounded warriors
