Term appointment until August 31, 2027, Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required, Authorized to work in Canada, Willing to work in the province of Quebec, Up to two (2) days of remote work per week where the position permits
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree, 3 Years Related Experience, English and French, spoken and written, Demonstrated experience with event management, Ability to organize large events from inception to delivery, Experience and proficiency negotiating vendor agreements, Ability to network, Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal departments, Demonstrated professionalism and discretion, Ability to create a base of contacts, Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, Manage multiple priorities, Ability to anticipate possible difficulties, Troubleshoot and implement solutions, Supervisory experience, Ability to build effective teams, Proven ability to work with computer applications, Databases, Presentation software, Spreadsheets, Word processing programs, Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required, Level 4 English proficiency

What You'll Do.
recommend and implement events
Manage all aspects of key signature events
conferences and special events
Manage on-site event operations
establish and maintain quality working relationships
Build solid relationships with dignitaries
Coordinate logistics related to travel and accommodations
Collaborate on the creation of event communications
Analyse event trends and results
Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives
Develop and implement effective administrative procedures
Evaluate progress of assignments and results
Undertake special projects
