What You'll Do.
Optimize inventory allocation and distribution strategies
Develop and maintain demand forecasts
Monitor forecast accuracy and identify variances
Coordinate with buying

Optimize allocation to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory
Review allocation of merchandise to warehouses and stores
Support execution of seasonal strategies and marketed events
Monitor store sales performance and track sell-through rates
Identify slow-moving items and recommend actions

This role requires a keen understanding of inventory management, market trends, and customer behavior to ensure the right products are available in the right stores at the right time. You will manage the distribution of inventory to maximize the likelihood of sales and sell-through while considering strategic objectives such as store priority. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. **Job Responsibilities:** Seasonal Allocation and Planning: * Oversee businesses with 500-1,000+ SKUs, driving up to $200M annually * Develop and maintain demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales trends, seasonal patterns, and market drivers * Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve results * Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for automation, enhanced forecasting models, and best practices * Coordinate with buying, planning, visual to plan for seasonal set and refresh
