## Description Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Software Developer with an advanced Mathematics and Physics background to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will focus on maintenance and development of software dealing with high fidelity physics modeling for Missile Warning training. Successful candidates should be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Advanced consideration will be provided to candidates with a Space background and knowledge of the Missile Warning and Missile Defense communities. ## What you will be doing Working as part of a small team on project development and integration of C# applications in a virtual environment. Designing, implementing, and sustaining simulation algorithms predicting orbital and suborbital trajectories. Deriving and coding equations of motion for boost, mid-course, and terminal guidance. Predicting and modeling emerging threats as events occur in the missile warning community. Interacting with customers to gather requirements and offer creative solutions, writing documentation, presenting project designs, performing user training, and attending requirements meetings. Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging application software that contains logical and mathematical solutions. Analyzing user requirements. Participating in the full software life cycle: designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications on Microsoft Windows-based systems. Performing agile software development in both unclassified and classified environments while utilizing software engineering best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation. Other tasks as directed. ## What you will need Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, applied mathematics (Masters preferred) or another relevant field.
