Must Have
Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar, At least 5 years of professional experience in a related field, Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering discipline applied to Aircraft Systems within the Development Life Cycle (ARP4754B), Knowledge of Integrated Modular Avionics discipline and adaptation of the DO-297 processes to specific projects, Knowledge of Aircraft System Design, Knowledge of Aircraft and System Architecture, Knowledge of MBSE, Advanced level of knowledge of Systems V&V Processes at L1/L2/L3 levels (Definition, Coordination, Execution, Qualification, Formalization), Demonstrated experience in Certification process, Knowledge of Certification process, Experience in the definition and execution of End-to-End Operational Test Scenarios, Experience with the usage of Multisystem Integration Test RIGs, Knowledge of System Safety/Reliability Process, English at negotiation level, Self-determination to be able to identify new opportunities of improvement and to make decisions autonomously, Knowledge in technical management: planning, scheduling, risk management
Nice to Have
A first experience in end to end development of airborne software or CEH would be a plus (DO-178C, DO. 254, …), Virtual Engineering/ Digital Twins knowledge, Proactivity, team spirit and high problem solving attitude, Agile methodologies
What You'll Do.
Development of system architecture in line with safety
security and performance requirements: specification
Verification and Certification Plans definition
Initiate and prepare end-to-end system architecture documentation in collaboration with a wide range of user-systems
taking benefits of Shared Resources / Integrated Modular
negotiate and implement user-systems needs into Shared Computing Resources (IMA) and Aircraft Data Network
Exercise complete aircraft systems design life cycle from the definition to the validation and certification of the system
During the Concept Phase of any project
devise the concept for the architecture of Aircraft
including the computing and data network infrastructure (e.g. usage of shared infrastructure versus federated approach)
Support Safety specialists through the safety assessment process bearing in mind the specificities of shared computing/network resources
