Aircraft Painter **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is currently seeking an **Aircraft Painter** to join our **Component Paint team** in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on**Variable shift.** The Component Painter will be responsible for, but are not limited to, performing tasks in the following areas: Masking, Sanding, Cleaning and Painting on aircraft assemblies on ground level and at heights. **Position Responsibilities:** * Performs inspection of aircraft parts arriving at the component paint facility * Cleans aircraft assemblies * Masking of aircraft assemblies * Sanding of aircraft assemblies * Priming and painting aircraft assemblies * Have the ability of viewing and understand computer- based work instructions and drawings * Maintaining all certifications that are required for the Component Paint shop * This position requires an individual to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment. Candidate must be able to obtain Fall Protection Certification. Fall Protection Regulations - OSHA 1926, 191066, 1910 Subpart **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)** **This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * High School Diploma/GED * Ability to work a variable shift * Preparation and painting experience * Required to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment and masks (OSHA STD state) * Ability to complete Fall protection training **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** * 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * 1+ years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, ind
