Eligibility Requirements

Ability to carry and lift overhead up to 50 pounds, Duties include walking, climbing, standing, stooping, stretching, and squatting, Work is primarily performed outside in a high-level noise environment, Performing maintenance in low-light areas, Operating support equipment after daylight hours, Work is occasionally performed in inclement weather, Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components, Must have a current state issued drivers license, Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, U. S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work site

Must Have

Eight (8) years working knowledge of overall aircraft maintenance operations experience, Complying with all applicable aircraft servicing procedures, Complying with aircraft maintenance manuals, Complying with parts catalogs, Read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, Read, interpret and use service bulletins, Read, interpret and use blueprints, Read, interpret and use wiring/schematic diagrams, Read, interpret and use data tables, Read, interpret and use other specifications, Current state issued drivers license, Obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, U. S. citizenship

Nice to Have

Aircraft maintenance experience on KC-46 aircraft, FAA Airframe, Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification

What You'll Do.

maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on assigned aircraft

Adhere to all Technical Orders

Air Force Instructions

scheduled and unscheduled inspections/maintenance

Perform preflight/thru flightPO inspections

Perform routine troubleshooting

repair and maintenance of all systems and components on the aircraft

Perform end-of-runway

and phase inspections

Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures

and related equipment

Remove and install aircraft components

scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft

Provide OJT to other Mechanics/Technicians

Assist in implementing the Tool Control Program

Staff the Tool Room section

Order parts and equipment through the Air Force supply system

Ensure supply discipline

Complete assigned training requirements

Operate vehicles on the flightline

Notify Shift Lead when aircraft are “crew ready”

Conduct aircrew debriefs

and maintain ground support equipment

Perform interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas

Complete aircraft forms and maintenance information systems documentation accurately

Perform all other position-related duties as assigned

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Provides OJT to other Mechanics/Technicians; Assists in implementing the Tool Control Program; May be required to staff the Tool Room section; Notifies Shift Lead when aircraft are “crew ready”; Conducts aircrew debriefs when assigned
