What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Military aircraft maintenance experience, FAA Airframe or FAA Powerplant License, 3+ years of experience in full-time aircraft flight line maintenance on military or commercial aviation aircraft, Willing to wear eye, hearing, foot, hand, respirator and other personal protective equipment/safety gear at all times, Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
Nice to Have
4+ years of experience in full-time military aircraft flight line maintenance on fighter aircraft with an honorable discharge (Avionics, Crew Chief, Structures at 5 or 7 level), 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background, Experience supporting the F-22 program, Current F-22 Special Access Program clearance
What You'll Do.
Perform aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems
Perform preventative maintenance
Perform alterations to aircraft structure
systems and sub-systems
Load and test software
Perform operational checks for hydraulics
electrical and avionics systems
test and repair fiber optic and electrical wire
service aircraft and engine systems
Initiate and document any nonconforming materials
Drill close tolerance holes through multiple stack-ups
Locate and add new structural and line replaceable units
Add system brackets and install new wiring and terminate connectors
Perform initial rigging of landing gear and flight controls
Read and interpret blueprints
clean and organized work environment
Maintain required records and inspection forms
Interpret and perform requirements of engineering technical documentation
Apply applicable mathematical calculations
Make production aids to facilitate work assignment
Maintain necessary certifications
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work in a diverse maintenance team environment; Interface with engineering and operations teams; Work with Government, Military and other contractors; Follow direction of the non-Boeing aircraft manager; Follow direction of government maintenance production staff
