Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Ensure aircraft and components are maintained in full airworthy condition and ready for dispatch at all times. Inspect, verify, and certify replacement parts prior to installation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company standards. Accurately document all maintenance work, sign off on completed tasks, and ensure proper completion of technical records and forms. Guarantee adherence to Canadian Aviation Regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and internal maintenance procedures. Manage removed components by ensuring proper tagging, handling, and routing to quarantine processes. Perform independent checks, receiving inspections, and other authorized quality assurance activities. Support the training and development of junior personnel through on-the-job instruction when required. Maintain up-to-date certifications, training validity, and compliance with all operational requirements. Contribute to a safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance environment in line with corporate values. Requirements: Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (TCCA AME) license in an approved discipline. Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, ideally in commercial or military aviation. Experience in line maintenance within fast-paced operational environments is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance documentation standards. Eligibility to obtain and maintain Level II Government Security Clearance and Controlled Goods access in Canada. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail. Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
