Full Job Description
Aircraft Avionic Technician (C-17) **Company:** Boeing Canada Operations Ltd **Boeing Canada Operations Ltd.** Global Technical Operations, Field Operations is looking for a highly skilled and experienced**Aircraft Avionics Technician** , working out of the**CFB Trenton, ON** to support Canada Operational & Intermediate (O&I) Level Maintenance Augmentation Support Team (MAST) under the United States Government C-17 G3 Sustainment Contract. **Aircraft Avionics Technician** will work directly under the guidance of the Lead Structure Technician and report directly to the onsite Maintenance Manager. **_Position Responsibilities:_** * Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. * Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. * Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. * Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. * Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). * Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.** **Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.** **_Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):_** * 3+ years of experience as an **Aircraft Avionics Technician,** maintenance release authority (MRA), or equivalent to RCAF Level A. * Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices. * Must have knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks
