Amazon Air’s (AIR) Network Control Center (NCC) is seeking an Air Operations Controller to help ensure the safe, compliant, and on-time performance of our dedicated air network. In this role, you will actively monitor aircraft and package movement across the network, proactively identifying risks and resolving potential disruptions before they impact operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining network stability by managing capacity, overseeing the flow of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and baggage, and coordinating with air carriers, ground handlers, and internal stakeholders. This includes developing and executing service recovery plans, responding to irregular operations such as delays or cancellations, and escalating critical issues to leadership when needed. Success in this role requires continuous situational awareness—you’ll assess real-time operational performance, analyze forecasted weather impacts, and communicate updates across teams to ensure alignment. You’ll also support leadership by analyzing data, preparing reports, and contributing insights for operational and executive-level discussions. This is a fast-paced, 24/7 operation, and the role requires flexibility to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
