Must Have

Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent, Possessing or having possessed a Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) - Group 1 or 4 or military equivalent, Experience in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Visual Flight Rules (VFR) flight planning and execution, Experience in using Canadian Air Navigation Services, Knowledge of ICAO Standards and Practices, in particular Annexes 4 and 15 including the operational requirement for information concerning airspace facilities, services, procedures and hazards, Knowledge of terminal navigation, communication, navigational aids and surveillance systems, Knowledge of enroute navigation, communications, navigational aids and surveillance systems, Knowledge of the Canadian NOTAM system, Knowledge of Instrument Flight Procedures, Basic knowledge of Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Probability and Statistics, Knowledge of Geodesy (geodetics) fundamentals for the purpose of flight procedures design, Ability to communicate effectively, Ability to obtain, clarify, discuss and assess information with managers, team and clients, Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight publication deadlines, Ability to listen to concerns and requests as they relate to amending technical aeronautical information and data, Ability to manage pressure while adhering to a strict publication cycle, Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy for complex procedure design, Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholders, Initiative and accountability in maintaining regulatory compliance, Adaptable to evolving technologies and procedures in aeronautical information management, Must meet the security requirement of the position, Must be legally able to work in Canada

Designs may be produced by peers, Suppliers or External Designs Organizations. * Assesses changes to Aeronautical data to determine if they impact Instrument Flight Procedures. * Amends Instrument Flight Procedures when the need for corrective action has been identified. * Ensures any required NOTAM and associated action for Instrument Flight Procedures is taken in a timely manner in accordance with AIM procedures. * Assesses impact of proposed vertical structures on to the Instrument Flight Procedures inventory. * Ensures Instrument Flight Procedures data is compl
