What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in computer science, data science, AI, engineering, or a related technical discipline, Experience implementing AI/ML solutions, Focus on Large Language Models, Working knowledge of LLM concepts, Fine-tuning, Prompt engineering, Retrieval-augmented generation, Evaluation of model outputs, Experience deploying models in controlled or air‑gapped/on‑premises environments, Understanding of constraints associated with no internet connectivity, Basic understanding of geospatial and asset/operations data, Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn domain structures, Exposure to integrating AI services with applications and APIs, Wrapping models as services, Tool/function-calling, Chat-oriented interfaces, Experience working within multidisciplinary, multinational teams, Organisational and coordination skills, Some experience in structured project or delivery environments, Excellent communication and documentation skills, Ability to clearly explain AI concepts, limitations, and results to non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Prior work with national infrastructure owners, Transport authorities, Utilities, Public works organisations, Professional certifications in data science, AI, Cloud data/AI services, Fluency in spoken and written Arabic language skills
What You'll Do.
Design AI Assistant architecture
Select and deploy LLM models
Prepare and curate training data
Support integration of AI Assistant
Implement monitoring and guardrails
Troubleshoot AI issues
Prepare documentation and guidelines
Support demonstrations and training
Contribute to knowledge transfer
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with Software Development Lead; Work closely with Data & Architecture team; Work with international experts, developers, and engineers; Work within multidisciplinary, multinational teams; Collaborate across multiple time zones
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills; Clearly explain AI concepts; Clearly explain AI limitations; Clearly explain AI results to non‑technical stakeholders
