Must Have
Formal qualification in a technology discipline or equivalent experience, 7+ years of design and development experience, ideally including ML or applied AI, Hands-on experience creating solutions with LLMs and/or Agents, Proficiency in Python, Experience with modern ML/AI frameworks, Development skills in databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Vector databases), Hands-on experience with one or more LLMs (e.g. Azure Open AI GPT, Claude, Gemini), Ability to build and deploy agentic systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent, Understanding of prompt engineering principles, Experience with prompting LLMs, Expertise in RAG architectures (e.g. Azure AI Search), Experience in API design, Experience in microservices, Experience in cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS), Knowledge of AI safety and bias detection, Problem-solving skills, Collaboration skills across teams (engineering, product, operations), Outcome-driven with a focus on creating solutions that deliver operational results, Comfortable working in a fast-evolving AI landscape with ambiguity and experimentation

Role Summary IQVIA Language Solutions is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models and Agentic AI systems to design and build the next-generation language technology solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong engineering skills with AI/LLM experience, working closely with technology and product teams to deliver AI solutions in a regulated environment. ________________________________________ Responsibilities • Design, implement, and deploy LLM-powered solutions for translation, linguistic QA and workflow orchestration. • Develop frameworks to enhance LLM output through contextual targeting (e.g. through retrieval-augmented generation or agentic pipelines using linguistic assets (translation memories, term bases, style guides etc.). • Integrate LLM solutions into existing translation management systems, CAT tools and enterprise systems via APIs and services. • Innovate: Experiment, Prototype and Build targeted AI solutions or modules. Stay current with advances in LLMs and agentic frameworks. • Implement prompt engineering, prompt versioning and evaluation.
