Must Have
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in AI/machine learning model validation, model risk management, or related roles, Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling, Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, Familiarity with ML frameworks, Knowledge of data governance, ethical AI principles, and regulatory requirements impacting AI models, Experience with model validation tools, version control, and documentation best practices, Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills, Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Prior experience in insurance and/or financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries, Certification in model risk management or AI ethics, Demonstrated ability to lead complex validation projects and mentor junior team members
